For those outside of the KOH community, my name is Michael Chernow, and my journey has been anything but ordinary. Most people know me as an entrepreneur, restauranteur, content creator, and industry disruptor, having built a platform that influences trendsetters across the wellness space. Before launching Kreatures of Habit, I successfully built and exited in the restaurant industry, founding both The Meatball Shop and Seamore’s—concepts that are still going strong today.

But here’s what most people don’t know: I shouldn’t be here today.

Like hundreds of thousands of others, addiction nearly took everything from me. My early years were filled with struggle, but through resilience, support, and an unrelenting desire to rewrite my story, I found my way out. In 2025, I’ll be celebrating 21 years of sobriety. My journey—once a mess—has become my message. It has shaped who I am and led to my life’s work: helping people build better habits so they can lead stronger, healthier lives.

That’s why I founded Kreatures of Habit—my third and most meaningful venture. We believe that small, consistent daily habits shape our destiny.
